RIP Dickey Betts
The man could make some music. So many classics.

Sad news, indeed. A favorite song of mine is Jessica.
RIP Dickey.

Saw them many times when they reformed he wrote some beautiful tunes including Seven Turns. Great album and song, Greg was really in top form as well w the added bonus of the intro to Warren Haynes. A truly legendary band. Duane Allman once said he wasn’t the best guitar player in his band, it was Mr Betts. I can’t think of higher praise. Live at the Fillmore East is still my favorite live album. What a legacy right thru to Warren and Derek Trucks as well.
