This is pretty awesome, TrojanMan needs to do this.

Is there a tow hitch available for our cars?

I'm not sure how I'd feel about leaving those exposed stuff at hotel/motel parking lots overnight...

Anyhow, 4 track tires, toolbox, etc, fit in E92/90.

Now I've seen it all. The GT3 definitely has the power to pull a small trailer like that...I wonder where the hitch is.

Don't rub it in. I can barely get my folding chair to fit in the back now with the roll bar.

Q: What is the vehicle of choice for a TRUE Porsche enthusiast?

A: Ford F350 HD extended cab with a towing package.

I don't think you need a F350 anymore. I was just reading on F150 and Dodge RAM 1500 that are rated to tow 10,000+ lbs now.

I would be awesome to be able to tow 2 cars, since I usually go with a buddy; then we could take turns driving and save on fuel.

There was a guy we met at the track with a F250 and an open trailer who wanted to get a new trailer that has a bathroom, table/TV, microwave and bed that drops down when you back the car out.

I had a Corvette buddy that said one of his crew used to hitch a tire trailer to his Corvette. No one wanted to travel to track days with him as he was limited to ~60mph on the highway. So, whenever he asked if anyone wanted to go, they stock answer was "we're making our own way down, see you there!"

agreed. 10k tow rating on the smaller stuff doesn't mean it is easy to tow 10k, and torque makes life easier.

Hitch attaches to the alluminum structural member behind the bumper cover. Access is by folding down the license plate. It's pretty stealthy.

What is the limiting factor? Trailer tires? Small trailer stability at speed?

Stability at speed. It wasn't an expensive trailer!

I don't know about using an M5 to tow another car. I doubt it's build to tow that much.

Do you have a larger pic of that set-up? That would be ideal when going with a buddy.
