How to upload my route to BMW car navigator?

I want to build a scenic route and simply ride it. I do this for cycling all the time but I can't find an option to upload GPX to the car.

Basically I want to plan exact route on the computer and then follow it in the car. This is not only destinations, this is specific roads.

I tried to reach out to BMW but I've got standard response "we heard you but there is nothing we can help".

From the My BMW app, choose the map icon at the bottom, enter destination, then hit “Send to my BMW”

Doesn’t let you input a route. Nav selects the route for you.

Ah bummer. You can still edit it in the car but I get that you’ve crafted one in advance and want to send your own route.

A very imperfect and time consuming solution is to input various addresses along the way that force you onto the roads you want to be on. I’ve done this a few times and it can be time consuming, painful and requires trial and error.

The last time did it was on my drive home from the performance center in order to get to the blue ridge parkway the way bmw suggests as opposed to via the highway. I ended up adding several destinations along the way until my route matched the suggested one. Again, it was painful- but worth it as it was a great drive.
