It snowed again today...

FML. This winter has been a cruel one.

I wanted a green world, but no, this morning, it was a white world.

Its not even cold, about -5C, that's all, but why does it have to snow? I'd be fine with the temp without the snow.

That is all. Just wanted to vent.

I had to use the AC on the way to work today. Was in the 70s.

I feel for our Canadian neighbors. Michigan got snow yesterday as well.

Send me your address, CC number, and contact number and I'll gladly ship you some green grass and tree leaves to help with your situation.

I turned on the central air yesterday because it was getting stuffy inside. Today we are expecting snow for the commute home. Temps gonna drop 40 degrees...

It was 70 here this past Saturday, then snowed on Sunday into Monday. It will be back into the mid 60's today; typical springtime weather fluctuations for CO.

Same here. It was 81 this weekend and sunny. Last night it was severe storms and temps plummeted into the 40's. My poor horses started shedding their winters coats in March and now they are freezing.

We got snow here, too. Really wrecked Wifey's daffodils. We ended up with about a 1/4 inch on cooler surfaces, like the roof. Just now getting above freezing.

I've visited southern FL during the summer season, and to be honest, I don't know if I could take that abuse year after year. I'm sure the "WINTERS", spring, and fall are awesome, but that summer heat was something to write home about.

The Heat may play well, but they still suck. Just sayin'.

My sister lives in Orlando and is always trying to get us to move there. Not a chance. We visited in March one year and it was 90F or more every day. Miserable. Reminded me of the summer I spent in Houston.

Funny a few days ago it hit 98F here... ugh. And yesterday a buddy sent me a shot of the snow that fell outside his front door, in PA. I would be good with something in between

I've found NC has been a great mid-way between Michigan and Florida. My original intentions were to go further south, but the summers here in NC are fairly hot, the spring and fall is perfect, and winter isn't exactly "winter".

I love it and I don't really think I would ever move much further south.

Funny I'll be in NC next month for a few days... having lived in NW PA for years and central AZ these days, I am sure it would indeed be a perfect "blend"... + The Tail of the Dragon is within reasonable distance as well.

Where abouts are you going to be stationed?

Tail of the dragon is fun, we used to make yearly trips from MI for a weekend, and now that I'm here, it's lost some of its zest, so my next trip is going to be to Calahara I think.
