I think it was a miss on BMWs part to not take classic designs and futurize them. Imagine a futuristic take on an e30 M3? Would’ve been a golden opportunity to bridge the classic heritage with next generation design language. |

Could it be that this is an exercise where they show a big solid state battery (100kwh) with some break through small but powerful engines are fitted in a very small vehicle? Otherwise I don't see the point. It's outright ugly and nothing interesting going on.
Design is just garbage! |

There’s no shortage of people around here that have absolutely no clue about automotive design
If it’s white, and it has four doors, and it has headlights and a grill, it must be the same…

Why the fake grill? Reminds me of the early 80s when American car companies tried to copy EU manufacturers without fully crossing the line, and instead wanted to please what they thought their legacy customers would accept. Remember the Chrysler K car and the first generation Cadillac Seville?
Do what Tesla did -- start with a clean sheet design and design the exterior to reflect what the car's truly about. |

Well...no buckteeth or pig snout...so my prayers have been answered. There's at least that.

+1, count me in.. Refreshingly retro. I like the design evolution from the DEE concept; curious to see how this evolves into the production model.. Side mirrors, windshield wipers, wheels, pared back grille graphics, etc..
