Looks great! Mode Carbon is the way to go. Any advice on the install?

Like Mode Carbon stuff too. I wonder tho, what is the advantage of the doubled lower lip area?

Well it really depends on if you do V1 or V2 if doing V1 (the upper part of mine) its really strait forward and you just drill holes where there are marks on the lip and it more or less lines up with the stock under mount holes, with the addition of grey 3m automotive tape.... now for the bottom second part of the lip which makes it be a V2, that is a good bit more challenging. I ended up matching the two center undermount holes from the V1 part of the lip and "sandwiching" them together there.... as for the sides near the outer edges...that is another story and i am still working on that. since the lips cover the stock hole you have to make a new hole in bumper and then what i did was get nylon spacer like 1/2 inch in length to span the gap within the inside of the lip area and then bolted through V2 part then through V1 then into nylon spacer THEN into bumper. so when you tighten the bolt ot tightens on the spacer and does not put to much pressure on the V1 portion with the hallow point. i can make a diagram if a need to. I got all the parts from fastenal. i will try to take a few pictures.

Well, other than looking awesome IMO it acts as a scrape and impact buffer to the V1 portion, so lets stay you scrap the crap out if it or beach on a curb.... the lower flat portion takes the damage, then later you can just replace that flat extension if need be and not need a whole new lip. It spans the entire under belly of the front so it isnt just a lip extension per say

For the money I would expect the lip to have holes pre drilled.

Perhaps, but keep in mind this is the FRP version and the carbon upper end models have hardware and holes if i am not mistaken.

this was actually not much more if not damn near the same price wise as some replicas....in th 500-700 price range to your door. this is also the V2 so there are two completely separate pieces. the second piece is much harder and less instructive to mount.

carbon ones don't come pre-drilled either. At least mine didn't.

I just put artist clay on the stock fastener heads, stuck the lip up there and the oils from the clay left the "drill here" marks

Ok, cool. I had asked him a while back about the CF version but he quoted me like $89....which was obviously a typo. LOL!
