Anyone know diff between Singapore Grey and Sparkling Graphite?

Just curious if anyone has seen these two colors side by side. I have seen a Singapore grey M5 but never really seen sparkling graphite except in images off the net, which are unreliable.

I have seen both, though not exactly side by side, but my impression was that they are both dark gray, but sparkling graphite was more of a true gray whereas the Singapore has more blue in it.

Singapore is more of a straight grey. Sparkling graphite is a more dynamic color with some purple hue to it in the sun. Striking grey in the right conditions. Some have referred to it as sparkling eggplant...

Signes is exactly right. I owned a SGM 135i and it had a purple/reddish tint in sunlight. Singapore is more neutral gray. Also Singapore is a bit darker than SGM.

Um no , Singapore grey is very dynamic in direct sunlight with a lot of metallic flake and blue hues to it . Both are awesome colors but I am partial to Singapore, it's amazing on my M6 .

LOL ;P

I appreciate the input. I particularly like GMD's comments. I saw SG on a showroom M5 and it looked great, I just don't want buyers remorse if I found out that Sparkling is a tad darker. Its freakin ridiculous that SG is standard on the M5, yet I need to shell out 5k to get it on the M4.. Really pisses me off

Sounds like one is a Chinese version of gray and the other an American version of French gray.
