I got it as a gift 20 years ago. I play around with it for a few minutes get frustrated and throw it back in a box. Worse 20 years of my life.

It's the same 15 or so moves every time. There is a trick to it. I used to be able to do it in under a minute. There was a how-to book out back in the late 80's that showed you the secret. Once you learn the moves, it's a piece o' cake.

I ended up in the hospital about the time the cube of death came out. Someone thought it would help pass the time and help me recover. What helped me recover was to literally throw the demonic thing out the window and see it smash into pieces on the ground.
