Finally Saw a BMW 120i in Eastlake San Diego

Just wanna put out that i just saw a 120i here in Chula Vista. Not that bad. Now my wife wants one. Pic attached.

If not for the big SUVs in the background, you would think that the picture was taken in Europe. I wonder what country those plates came from?

I've a seen a couple in San Diego, but they've had baja or mexico plates. Sadly, I think they look like cheap and look more like a mazada. I'm glad they don't sell them here.

Pretty sure it is not possible for a while as we are going to have 1 series COUPE. Remember the U.S. did not get the hatch because it would conflict with the Mini Coopers. So unless the new 1 series hatch is significantly different than the Mini Cooper, we might never have it in the states.

There's a black one with "Baja" license plates that spotted frequently in Eastlake as well.

I saw one about a month ago in El Cajon. I parked next to it. My guess is that they were either on their way to or coming back from Viejas.

After seeing it up close parked, I 100% convinced it's just as ugly as I originally thought. So tiny too inside and out. My M3 looked like it dwarfed the little 120i.

The one I saw had Front BC plates... or maybe Sonora, can't remember.
