Matching image is on my dash on my motorcycle, surrounded with natural lightning bolts.

Just for the record, 1/4 German and 3/4 Irish.

X2. I'm going into law and made sure I got it in a place where I can cover it up. Can't even see it with a short, short-sleeve shirt. Can't risk potential job prospects over a tattoo.

my buddy got the sleeve 6 years ago - I've been in the oil/gas business for 9 years....

at first, it will just be dog tags and IF I decide to wear short sleeve shirts to work (probably not for a few months), the dog tags will only be hanging @ 2.5 to 3" below my elbow crack lol....

I need to get used to wearing long sleeve shirts in high 90 degree weather and 50% humidity...

gonna hate life, but it's the sacrifice I'm willing to make....

I really want to get something on my right arm that will be the same length as my left arm, but I'm having trouble drawing up something symbolic to my family that I'm happy with.

I already got future plans for my right arm...

gonna be music sheets from 2 or 3 of the most memorable songs that me, my brothers and dad listen to every weekend while we're cooking BBQ....

"Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan
"Take It to the Limit" by Eagles

when we BBQ at the house and the night is just about over, it's a thing that we listen to these last two songs before we leave the Gazebo....

The Gazebo is a special place to my family and I - we hang out there almost every weekend, cook BBQ and listen to music....

it's a safe haven....

it's hosted countless birthday parties, car shows, anniversaries, mother's days, father's days, thanksgivings, easter egg hunts, etc.....

the Gazebo has been up for the last 20 years - most of my adult memories revolve around events at the Gazebo

That's an awesome idea actually, and extremely personal, which is what I have been trying to come up with. I guess I should stop thinking about generalized things that can be associated with any family, and maybe dig into some old photo albums to maybe spark some ideas.

I like the guy in the first pic who is pretending to look at his phone, but looks like he's really checking out Mrs Litos. Or maybe he's looking at the camera...what do I know.

I immediately noticed the "calendar" in the gazebo, then glanced around to see the relative ages of the kids in the yard. I'm willing to bet there are some grandsons who LOVE to go to grandpa's gazebo

The prospective in the first picture makes it seem much smaller, with far less clothing.

I got this done a few months ago.
I plan on getting my feet covered but I'm not rushing.

Sorry for the large, crappy iphone pic.
