I can unequivocally say yes. I currently own a 2020 x7 with the 3 zone and made sure to buy the 5 zone with the 24 x7 I took delivery of last month and it is noticeable without needing to be perceptive. I receive a call fro BMW NA about my satisfaction with the new x7 and told them the only complaint (especially in south Florida) was the compromises a/c. I was told I’m not the first to identify the problem. I hope it means they are working on a fix.
