I've used almost everything out there and Sonax has been by favorite of the bunch. Careful on leather stripes (performance wheels) because it'll take the dye off. As a alcantara cleaner... Works like a dream

I'm glad I came across this, I installed the perf wheel, and was just searching for a good cleaner as I can see this thing collecting dirt, etc.

Best thing for cleaning alcantara and suede= soap and water and then use a new toothbrush to fluff back up the hairs.. 100% will look new.

I just did that and the fibers got all stiff I do not recommend using soap on the alcantara.

You're not doing it correctly then:

Reg dish soap diluted with water and use a toothbrush to clean and then pat dry. Then use a new brush to pop back up the fibers.

This is also recommended by many, including this guy who redoes wheels >

I've used the Sonax alcantara cleaner. It seemed to work just fine. Steering wheel looked great after.
