Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.

I'm looking to retrofit my F31 from June 2017, but I'm unsure about which type of camera to use. Despite conducting some research, it's still unclear to me whether I can use icam or only trscv. Ideally, I'd prefer to use icam if it's possible.

I've come across conflicting information on forums. Some suggest that cars manufactured before July 2017 do not support icam, while others indicate that cars produced after 2015 can use icam. This inconsistency has left me a bit confused. I'd greatly appreciate any insights or clarification on this matter.

As mentioned, my car is an F31 LCI from June 2017 with Evo NBT.

You will need to do a TAL calculation with E-Sys. It will show the camara type needed. That being said, in my F30 2017 LCI-and Evo NBT, it was the ICAM2 type.
The retrofit itself was quit easy, new camera and bracket install, power supply from the fuse box in the rear, a K_KCan from the camera to the FEM and a two wire shielded cabel from the camera to the HU.
Coding the REM; HU and all worked as a dream.
