I guess they're not giving Vitor a shot at the winner of the AS/CW rematch?

The Vitor fight is a month before AS v CW. If he gets past Hendo I can't see anyone denying him the next shot, especially if it takes place at 185.

vitor lost twice to AS, what's the point having a 3rd match if AS win vs CW.

Vitor has only fought AS once. AS won by devastating KO though.

yea man, big bummer, hope he is able to get treated and is able to get back to fighting

On other sad news, Connor McGregor has a torn ACL and will be out 10 months

Starting to think we'll never see Belfort fight outside of Brazil again due to TRT. Belfort's a beast, I see him taking this one.
yea, its a little weird, they say is not, then his next fight ends up in Brazil... hmmm...

the AS/CW rematch is so far away, think they wanted to keep Vitor busy but if he wins, just as BMW86 said, you cant deny him a tittle shot then

spoilers below....

good card last night, Condit looked amazing. Takedown defense got better but needs to improve further to be able to compete against GSP or Hendrix

thought the judges robbed Robert Whittaker and Kevin Gastelum, holy crap, he took it to another level, no longer the pudgy kid from TUF

+ 1 on everything. I managed to catch the last fight of the prelims where Dave Andrews got a KO in the 3rd round. Awesome finish too. Kevin Gatelum reminds me of Ronnie from Jersey Shore He looked great tonight.

Condit looked really impressive, he was really putting on the pressure and I thought Kampman showed a lot of heart too.

Can't wait for Hendo v Pettis in a few days. Who you got?

The more I watch cerrone, the more I think he past his prime. For such a good Muay Thai practitioner, he seems to be outstruck a lot. He seems to fall off his game plan and get into brawls or the other fighters game and not use his height and reach to his advantage. It's sad cause he's still one of my favorites.

I was shocked Dylan Andrews pulled of the KO, specially w/ a broken shoulder and after getting beaten badly for 2 1/2 rounds

man, i was stuck when they fought the first time. Both are in my top 5 fav fighters, so its really hard for me to pick. Gun to the head, i would go w/ Pettis, he's too good at everything

I think he is still in his prime but its all mental w/ him. He needs to dedicate himself to mma and mma alone, he does too many side things to be able to train like all the guys in the top 10 do. But i agree, he's one of my favs as well and hate seeing him not do as well as I think he can

McDonald vs lawler will be an epic fight, esp after how good lawler looked his last fight. Doesn't hurt that he got bricks in his hands

I'm sick of Belfort just fighting in brazil. Get his ass back up to north america.

Who you guys got for tmr's event?

I'm going with Benson, Barnett, Mendes, Rothwell and Pourier.

I'm impartial to who wins tomorrow but I wouldn't' mind seeing Pettis come up. He's a beast but Benson doesn't seem to have any weak points. Should be a great fight.

Wow, some good fights

Wanted Guida to win but props to Mendez for the KO

Thought Mir could've gone longer, semi-premature stoppage

WOW, grats to Pettis. Hope Bendo's arm is ok.

We have a new champion. I think Pettis has Bensons number. I think Pettis would beat him again. Mirr fight could have gone on longer but he wasn't looking good

Yeah I seriously think Pettis is Benson's kryptonite. He made it even look easy this time around o_O!?!? I'm sure Benson will be back better than ever tho.

Good fights all across the board. Anyone else think it's funny that Rothwell had better conditioning than Vera even with being so much heavier?

Early stoppage "Kinda". Mir wasn't gonna keep on going. He went limp for a moment and Barnett would be raining down even more hell.

I thought the Verra fight was very one sided. It looked like a lion chasing down a mouse. It was only a matter of time. I don't think Verra is a top 10 LHW and not sure if he'll be able to hang with the HW's either. He'll probably get cut soon.

+1 Mirr would have just taken even more of a beating if it was allowed to go on.

Incredible performance by Pettis, those body kicks really took a toll on Benson then got an incredible armbar out of no where. I didnt see the tap initially but i saw the arm break. Hope Benson comes back soon and its not too serious but I see Pettis being champ for a long time

Mir, although i thought it was early, it wasnt going to get any better but you never know

amazing fight btwn Koch and Poirer also, and Mendez, what else can you say about the guy, KOing fools left and right

Yeah I'd say give Mendes either the title fight after whoever fights aldo next or have him fight lamas for the number 1 contender spot.

i'd like to see pettis fight either tj grant or aldo tho.

I'm thinking tmr Glover Teixeira will sub-out Bader.

Oh just confirmed. Bigfoot Silva vs Mark Hunt in Dec on the next Australian card. Should be a slobberknocker!
