Anyone on Springs or Sleeves that needed to replace their stock shocks?
leaning towards Lowering Springs or KW sleeves but worried about replacing my stock shocks (EDC equipped). I had a tsx with lowering springs before, and the shocks began to leak after about 25-30k miles. I'm not really looking to drop $$$ on a set of KW V3's at the moment.
Anybody using their m3 as a daily driver with springs or sleeves that had to replace their shocks?? |

Dinan or Eibach is what you need, minimal drop keeping stock shocks in mind. Sleeve over kits are also ok if not dropping the car too much.

I posted this same question not even half way down the 1st page of this forum. It looks like there aren't a lot of people who have had to replace the OEM dampers yet so it tough to say. I'm at 58k miles and have had my Eibachs on for about 30k miles. I don't see any fluid leaking from the damper bodies. The ride does seem to be getting rougher but that could also be due to my tires wearing out.

How many miles are on your dampers and how many miles with Eibach's? I'm just curious because I'm on Eibach's as well. Thanks in advance

I had Eibach springs from ~15K on my EDC OEM shocks. I lost a front shock at ~95K on a Garden State Parkway pothole and replaced all four shocks with TC Kline single adjustable race shocks/springs and EDC delete modules.

Sorry to be a noob but how can you tell if your front or rear shocks are "leaking"?
And does that mean they are on their way out?

Would love to see how a TC Kline or Dinan sleeve kit works with the Bilstein EDC heavy duty shocks on a ZCP car. Know the Bilsteins make the car sit higher, but can adjust ride height with the adjustable springs. Would also be interested in keeping car no lower than ZCP height.
