You can do all that on your 335 for a few $k.
well agreed. the 335i is almost as good as the M3

At least that how I would feel...

Have lots of respect for all Vettes tho. I don't think you can go wrong with it...it has immense power. And let's be honest...the Z06 is WAY more than enough power for normal day to day driving. But a part of me would feel the itch to upgrade again.

Having said that...from a strictly image point of view (not that it really matters...but it still is a factor for most people)...Vettes have always had that long associated "guy-going-through-mid-life-crisis" vibe. Not sure if that is something you care about...
Provided anyone actually drives there ZR-1.

ok well i finally got to drive the new m3 sedan coupe yesterday i also had to do the side by side visual with my 335i sedan, the m3 is much more aggressive looking from front and rear, the aggressive fender flares give it that extra mean look, ok now about the drive the v-8 exhaust not is wonderfull the different suspension settings were quite noticable. I dont know if it was because i was rusty on driving a manual but the shifting wasnt as quite smooth as i expected. The cars powerband was what i expected as compared to the 335, i wasnt able to take the car past 5500rpm of course(break in) but i did get to push it, 100mph at 4000rpm felt and sounded great. Now is it worth $20,000 more than what i just paid 4 months ago, at this point i will have to say no, ill wait for the new transmission and decide, now im on to drive the corvette conv and z06 hopefully the weather will hold up.

BMW, i do love the Vette so very much. I sold mine last year. Besides there was a Mens Mag out that listed how girls looked at cars. The guy with the BMW was on top of the list. The Vette and Ferrari was on the lower scale. Ron
