This is Baltimore in ten years they'll put a Ray Rice statue next to the Ray Lewis statue dedicated two weeks ago.

Man didn't expect him to get in trouble. Hasn't been his whole career.

I'd love to say it's roids but the amount of cussing, physically abusing, and shit talk that goes on with 10 year old pop warner football I see everyday while I walk out to train my mens soccer team is rediculous. Not to sound racist but it's culturally accepted and embraced. Try laying hands on a kid at a private catholic school, you'll be slapped with a lawsuit so fast it will make your head spin. Yet these coaches are physically throwing 10 year old kids around, swearing at them, and the kids run around doing the same thing to eachother. Football culture is the problem. Sure they don't have role models, but it also starts with parenting, coaching, and then your idols. If I tried to act like a football player acts when I was that age I would have gotten grounded, spanked, mouth washed out with soap, not encouraged.

I originally thought the same thing, then my wife pointed out some of the reports. I don't know what the facts are, just reading reports.

Quote:
The beating allegedly resulted in numerous injuries to the child, including cuts and bruises to the child’s back, buttocks, ankles, legs and scrotum, along with defensive wounds to the child’s hands. Peterson then texted the boy’s mother, saying that one wound in particular would make her “mad at me about his leg. I got kinda good wit the tail end of the switch.”
Peterson also allegedly said via text message to the child’s mother that he “felt bad after the fact when I notice the switch was wrapping around hitting I (sic) thigh” and also acknowledged the injury to the child’s scrotum in a text message, saying, “Got him in nuts once I noticed. But I felt so bad, n I’m all tearing that butt up when needed! I start putting them in timeout. N save the whooping for needed memories!”

This just goes to show that you don't have to be uber intelligent to be a professional athlete. It's a plus, but not a requirement.

There's been more than one case with Peterson. CPS was called, case filed. Then he had to do a drug test. He smoked a joint before taking the drug test. Yes Peterson is very consistent. At least he's a genetic freak when it comes to the NFL. Everything else he's clueless.
