My brother in law has a 230 Kompressor and it runs great in the shop loads less than my BMW, I just like how BMW drives and feels thats why I put up with the cars for 10 years so far. I hope the 2006 and later 3 series will be much better service issues that the e46's.

Tough luck with your car. I'd be pretty discouraged too. However, I am really enjoying the 330i so far so I think in the end it will be worth the wait. Sorry about not posting pics yet but I have had no time to look for the charger to my camera nor time to take the pics. The car in the mean while is getting dirty from the random showers we've been having. A friend of mine borrowed my E90 today, I have been nervous about it all day!!

Well today Tina said it was suuposed to leave the VPC on 6/1/05 now she says 6/8/05 from her new reports,it originally should have shipped from the VPC on the 28th of may, and that they are just making sure everything is "ok" with it. I think its all B.S. so I in turn have called her and cancelled this car, I just do not have faith in her or the honesty of BMW anymore. Have fun with you car as I will keep mine until next year, so no e90 for me now, just tired of all the BS, wait wait and mayb'e no wait some more. Let them sell this damaged car at full MSRP to some other unfortunate person. I hope everyone has had better luck that me.

Well if its any concilation I think you did the exact right thing!!
Seing as you were paying full MSRP, you had a right to receive perfection, not a repaired car of the bat. I think most peeps might have taken it anyhow. I bought in the Montreal area and felt the four local dealers dont provide enough competition, I certainly wouldnt have received the price I did (-$1500cdn) if there were no competition....anyhow waiting might be better coupe, convertible and Ms' coming soon!

I ordered my car 05/30, dealer told me a car with the options and color I want was on its way to Halifax, NS. expect delivery 06/15

Ordered 330 w/sports package, premium package, 6-speed Steptronic, active steering, Monaco Blue, gray w/aluminum trim, sunshades, spoiler, 6 CD changer, Sirius, + multiple accessories. Did not order Nav/I-Drive!

Drove ultimate driving experience in same car w/active steering. We drove new Audi A4 and G35 for comparison. The 330 clearly beat the others on 1 mile track (no speed limit!). Great car! Active steering was extremely intuitive. A4 plowed in to corners - felt like front wheel drive. G35 better but was a handful. The 3 was smooth, powered out of the corners due to high toruque at low RPM. DTC and DSC worked great. Fast downhill right hand sweeper at speed and never a hint you were going to loose it! Wow - order one if you haven't already! Have fun

Congrats on the new car!

Have your CA double-check with BMWNA, you might not be able to do ED until 1st or 2nd week of Nov. because of the Comfort Access. They usually produce for US production 1st (Sept.) then ED allocations (Oct.)

I am getting the AWD and it's not being produced for ED allocations until Oct. I wanted to do 3rd week of Oct. originally too.

also, does the xenon +800 package include bi xenon or just xenon?if it is only xenon is it possible to order bi xenon?

I think if your order xenons for your 325i, you'll get the whole package.

Sorry to learn that you won't have a E90 this year. If you can wait, it's probably better to not get a 1st year model anyhow. I think I had my first glitch already. Noticed the other day that the Pass-Airbag-Off light went on when I was at a stop light while driving with a friend in the passenger seat. It went off a minute later but I was still puzzled by why it even went on in the first place. Typical german car I guess. Come to think of it, I bet a 2nd year model will be just as "reliable". Good luck on your car search. Sad part is I am sure Tina will be able to unload your car easily at MSRP.

Expect production to be Sept and then I'll go to Germany in October (Mid Month), then November arrive in US. Does anybody know when does the snow season start in the northeast? I've lived here for 5 frigging years but still not sure when does it start. I don't want stone chips!!! I am thinking of driving to the nearby clear bra installer (xpel.com) and install it right away...probably stay at a hotel nearby? any other recommendations?

I'm talking from the sunny south of europe, Lisbon, Portugal.
Most part of our fellow partners of adventure are from the US of A, so this stats as a very limited interest.
