for alms and f1, i sat at turn 1 in the grass. i think it's the perfect location. in the stands at 1, you can see them coming up the entire straight. a local shop is hosting a breakfast and drive to the event both mornings.

I went to the USGP last year and did the 3 turn package, Friday main grand stand, Sat. T1 and Sunday T13. T1 was my favorite and it is better to sit higher up to see more of the track. Our seats were in the first couple of rows which was good for up close views but up higher you can see more of the course.

Just to add T1 sits on the hill right after start/finish straight.
@gap - what T1 section was it ?

I was in section 2, I think row 4. Facing the T1 Grand Stand Section 2 is on the right side. Being that close was good but I feel being higher and to the left would give you a view of more of the track. I was right at the braking zone for T1 and never grew tired of watching the Ferrari Challenge brakes glow red.

Had never seen aF1 race and wanted to go before the V8s with 18,000 @ RPM were history.
