Upgrade from 335i to 435i

Hey F30 Post! I have been a member for a couple of years, and started with a 2008 335i. For a couple of years I did FBO upgrades and some minor body work.

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=927889

However, after a couple of months last year, I was having issue after issue with the car. And it started to become a money pit. So, after months of searching, I finally found a good deal on a 2015 435i. The car was in immaculate condition and low mileage (50k). Moreover, what sold me was: coupe, red interior, and MANUAL stick shift.

Upgrades so far:
  • Valvetronic Exhaust (muffler)
  • m4 wheels
  • CTS air intake
  • CTS charge pipe
  • Jb4 ("stage 1")
  • Carbon Fiber side mirror caps
  • Carbon Fiber rear spoiler
  • Carbon Fiber rear diffuser
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE980 Plus all around
  • Wheel alignment

In the next couple of weeks, I'll have the following installed:
  • FabSpeed downpipe (catted)
  • CTS Race FMIC
  • Carbon Fiber front lip M-tech style
  • Carbon Fiber side skits M-tech style

Hope you guys like/appreciate. I'm loving the car, including my crazy commute 2-3 times a week at 2.5hrs a day.

I am considering upgrading the tuning. I ran the jb4 on my 335i, and despite some of the negative feedback on them, I actually enjoyed it with no issues. The current jb4 cannot be adjusted, but it's been good so far.

Finally got a chance to take a few pics of the FabSpeed catted downpipe + CTS Race fmic.

However, I noticed that the left outlet/inlet tube is dented. Whereas, the right side is perfectly circular. I know this isn't part of the design. I ordered it previously from ECS Tuning, but that one had both sides dented. Emailed shop with pics to see if it can still be installed...
Annoying since I ordered the two FMIC's from different companies, brand new, and both have similar issues.

Thanks man! I am blessed to have owned two cars that I loved when I first saw them. Of course I wanted to go M, but with the long commutes I have, I didn't want to deal with the high costs of repairs and labor. Another time (hopefully) when things are good. Would love the M4.
