Help. Run flats with non-run flats at the same time
Ok. As I was reading through a thread on rft tires, I went out to check mine. I just purchased my 335 a few months ago and did not notice that I have Bridgestone Potenza S-03 rft on the front and Nitto NT555 non-rft on the back? Please forgive me as I am a newbie, but what are the cons to this? Should I be worried that I do not have rft on the back?

If you bought this car new from a BMW dealer I would return there and insist they give you 4 matching tires. BMW would never vouch for mixed sets of tires. If you bought it used from someone, then you're stuck, but if you drive conservatively you're probably fine. If you drive very aggressively it's possible you will encounter unforeseen reactions, but the main downside is that there's little point to having only 2 run crap tires on. If you're prepared to either get a spare or to rely on roadside ass., then you might as well have 4 real high performance tires.

Thanks. Guess I'll be buying 2 more non-rft since this will probably be the cheaper way to go as well as better for performance.

Are you sure what is on the fronts? The S-03 has been phased out for quite a while and for sure was not available as a runflat. Maybe they are RE050's? Even if they are S-03s and aren't runflats, I'd still want to run the same tire on all 4 corners.
