Made a monster mistake selling my XKR. The state of many of the Interstates I wanted to travel is/was such that the hours of jiggling wore me down.

Traded it for an XJ that left me stranded on a remote part of I-40 in Northern Arizona, courtesy of the shit, Ford designed, water pump. The engine came out twice before it was fixed, so I let it go. Didn't trust it. Broke my heart, because the interior was spectacular.

There are some really nice cars on this thread (none of them mine, sadly), but that is head and shoulders above all of them for me.

And it's black with black wheels! I don't really like black cars, or black wheels. I LOVE that, though.

It was a nice car, I did a lot of mods, it was a manual and I got it to 680bhp and 900nm, it was sports bike fast!

You've now made me do the Autotrader 'grazing' for 991 Turbos.
£70k gets a decent looking cab, which by Porker standards ain't too bad IMO.

The Mk8 is really nice... I didn't really take to it when it launched, having owned that Mk7.5, but in retrospect it is a really nice clean design... and makes the previous ones now look a little frumpy, in a way...

VW still suffer from a poor selection of wheels, IMHO, but those look awesome...

... and having the nozzle covers for the light washers was something you could pay extra to have "body colour"...!!!
