Tire Size Recommendation for Squared M3 GTS/ZCP Rear Wheel (19" x 10") Set Up

I'm currently on a squared M3 GTS/ZCP rear wheel set up all around with Michelin PSS tires 255/35R19 up front and 275/35R19 along with a 10mm spacer out rear. I was curious whats the widest tire size people are able to run with a GTS/ZCP rear wheel up front. The idea of running 265's all around is appealing because of the ability to rotate tires but i'm afraid it'll rub up front.

I would try 275/30 and 295/30. That's basically the setup I'm running only on 18x10's, and I love the balance and the look.
265/30 ought to be fine.

275/30 will be delightful and won't rub. Enjoy!

I think you can actually get away with a 285/30/19 on all 4 corners..limited tire choice though.

265/30-19 PSS on 19x9 ZCP rubs a little on plastic fender liner on back side. There is a little hump there that is not on driver side. That is with Turner 12.5mm spacers.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I think what i will probably do is rotate the rear to the front and assess the clearances or lack of.

Definitely something i would recommend! Don't forget a 10mm spacer to flush the rear to the fender.

That won't tell you anything the 275/35-19 is too tall for the front of the car.

Exactly what the OP says. 19"x10" all around with 255/35R19 front and 275/35R19 rear.

I'd try to fit 285/30s all around.

Let us know when you rotate those rears forward to see what clearance is like.

What is the best fix for the rub?

Hi,

Proud and new 2011 M3 sedan owner. I bought it with the ZCP package, and within weeks traded out the competition wheels for HRE P40S that a friend of mine was replacing.

I run pilot super sports, 295/30zr19 on the back, and 255/30zr19 on the front. I get a small amount of rubbing noticed mostly when others are in the car, or if I take dips in the road at speed. i think it is rubbing on the back only, likely on the plastic fixture under the wheel arch that fastens the bumper to the body.

I bought the car fully stock, so I don't know much about what spacers are on there or what my choices are. I love the look of the new wheels, I want to keep them. What are my options for mitigating the rubbing? Has anyone tried dremel'n the plastic under arch, or flaring the fenders, or is that like a total noob idea?

thanks in advance, love this forum
