Plus because you can see what the car you are actually buying really feel, and a minus because even though many of us baby our cars during the break-in period, if there are anything over 5-10 miles, you know it's been driven hard. Some people (like my 335i) are lucky and get the cars for low miles (i had 1.5, .5 of which was my own test drive) but dealers do have demo cars as well, sometimes.

Yes, the stock stereo system actually still sounds good, even after a month. The bass response is pretty clean, although I can't play it head-thumping loud and expect the same response, but it does sound good if you keep it to a reasonable volume.

Yes, they did (I'm in Florida). We have demo cars here as well, but they still sell cars that have been test driven a little bit as "new" (not "demo").

Excellent write up op! This blows away the arm chair, magazine based car reviews that I've seen on another forum. Fakers will be fakers.. This is the real deal on bimmerpost.

Wow, didn't realize how much that 4dr M3 looks like a 330 or 335i sedan...thumbs down on that design and look.
The coupe is better looking in both instances, the M3 and the 335is. I will never buy a new car again. Thanks to other people, in 3yrs the car will be nearly half price...then I will pick it up! |

Go Autobahn, you don't happen to live in Tallahassee by any chance? That looks a lot like Capital Eurocars.
Congrats on the M3!

Glad this was mentioned because I drove the 335is/DCT and there was absolutely ZERO turbo or response lag in the Sport mode. And, there is some "adaptive" AI going on too. Drive it like hell and it will perform the same.

does 42$ per month in fuel really have that much of a decision factor on buying a 70k car? it doesn't make sense to me for people to take fuel economy so extensively into their decision factors in buying very expensive cars ($ wise)
if you wanna save the environment that's another thing but the guy that buys a lambo and is worried about his gas prices may not be making the best investment...not saying this is the case but to some people an m3 may be as realistic as a lambo for others. |
