For the last few weeks my 2014 320i key fob has been malfunctioning. It will unlock the car at a the normal distance (at least 5 meters/15 feet away), but locking only works when standing next to rear part of the car, and the key fob also needs to be held against the steering column to start the engine, even if the acc power works ok.

I have changed the battery twice with a fresh one so that is not the issue.
I don't have the door lights that cause similar issues to some people, and I'm not sure if this is the fob or maybe somehting else like the antennas?.

Any ideas on what may be causing this? Thanks for your time.

There are multiple antennas, so if one or more aren't working that would explain it.

There aren't any error codes stored, is there a way to check the antennas functionality?
I found this post https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1812504 that have some info on their location, but that's about it.
