Repainting+Clear Bra
I got my car repainted on the bumper, hood, and fenders. After it was repainted they baked the car and returned it to me. How long do I have to wait to get a clear bra applied so it does not peel the paint? The body shop told me I could go right ahead and get the clear bra done and the paint wont peel when removing the clear bra in the future because of the baking method. Please Advice and thanks!

I waited 60 days when I had the front bumper resprayed. My paint was also baked, but I was advised against the clear bra right away. Paint was PPG iirc.

paint has to be given enough time to breath and cure regardless of if it was baked or not. Different paint types have different curing times, 60 days should be enough.

60 days is a bit much depending where the car is parked.
Usually about 1-2 weeks if the car is parked outside or a month if parked indoors is enough to cure the paint. Modern water based paints cure much faster than the older (and more durable) lead based paints.
