Bump stops are good insurance for a street driven car IMO.
I had the Moton SS2s. Used kit springs and 600/850 lbf/in springs. The SS2 damper body is extremely short and allows more travel than stock, even when lowered. I ran my car with a ~0.75-1" drop in ride height with 18x9.5"et22 front wheels with 265 tires and had zero body-contact issues with kit springs.

The MCS damper bodies are longer than the SS2 damper bodies. The only way you'd make contact with the body is if you are running an extremely low ride height with street-biased spring rates.

I'm not against bump stops but use them only if they are absolutely necessary. On MCS dampers I might use them if I was running an extremely low ride height, wide r-comp tires and 'soft' spring rates.
Cool. It sounds like mcs has it all figured out. I've got to find a car with them to test drive. I really dig the top adjustable design of their non-canister doubles. I hate getting on the ground to adjust mine.

Excellent write up. Looking forward to my MCS dampers. I'll let you know how my car feels after swapping the sway bar, links and subframe bushings.

I definitely noticed while chasing you I could not keep up coming out of Rattlesnake and Buzzard Neck (I had to look it up - the turn before Little Bend ;-)). You were consistently able to get on the throttle sooner in these turns.

Lots of fun. Keep us posted on future mods and your settings for the dampers.

I have 600/900 with the singles and I still find it very tolerable on the street, especially with a lower damper setting. Tolerable is totally subjective mind you. Having said that, my wife doesn't seem to mind it... As a comparison, I found my KW V3's with maxed out damper settings, and Clubsport springs a lot harsher

Either spring rate, you will love them.

The only thing is, I am not sure what spring rate should I chose.
My car is mainly a weekend good weather car that will see about 10 track days a year.
OP has stated that 600/900 spring rates are not too bad on the street as far as ride comfort is concerned.
But how about 700/1000? Is it too much for the street?
Performance is all I care about but at the same time I don't want to lose my dental fillings on the way to the track. It would be nice to get a ride in a car with this set up...
Any feedback on this will be greatly appreciated
Whoa - it's been a while. I've been running the 600/900 setup for some time, and it's fine for the street with the dampers set to 2-4 clicks from full soft. I might even go for the 700/1000 setup. Several guys run those rates including Surlynkid. You might PM him.

If you like any bit of comfort on the street, 700/1000 isn't the answer. I have all solid links and bushings though as well. A 1000lb rear is only available in 1" shorter than shortest 900lb, so you really lower the car as well. The MCS 2-way NON reservoir are valved goofy. I run almost maxed out on rebound and compression. I max out compression but run 14-16 on rebound depending on track. The reservoir ones are valved properly.

I run -2.8 f and -2.0 r camber with stock suspension and r-comp. tires and tire wear on the track is good.
What camber settings do you guys recommend for MCS singles with 600/900 rate and BFGR1S tires?
I think the camber will depend on the track, and your driving. I've set mine by tire wear but used a pyrometer to confirm.

If you are getting those times at WGI on stock suspension you should be very pleasantly surprised with the upgrade...
