I think so. I have been very happy with the spring swap. Zero downside for me. Handles exactly the same and gained 12mm of inner clearance.

Spacer is quicker and easier but not guaranteed to work (could have outer clearance issues).

I've ordered the springs I'm hoping they get to me this weekend. The profile of the 11" wide wheel is slightly bigger then the 10" so the fronts for over the 380mm brembo but the rear touches just harrop are going to see if we can take a little bit off them to make the wheel for if not I'll put the smaller brembo on the back.

What springs did you order; Eibach? Same part number I have?

I have heard that the rear 380mm brembo is harder to fit than the front. Some people have changed the caliper bolts to gain the small amount of clearance you need.

Yes it's the same part number you have

I'm going to look into it more this weekend/next week and get the problem fixed ASAP I want to try these r888s. To me the wheels look like they won't rub I've had wheels that rub I put 295s on zcp wheels and with the kw's they rubbed but this looks like it won't and I don't even have the rear all the way up but I'm going to put it all the way up this weekend

Increasing your ride height will not solve rubbing issues. The wheel will still go through the suspension travel and rub if it's going to rub. Furthermore I don't know why you would want your ride height set to the maximum. Set your ride height to be balanced front to rear, give yourself around -2 camber in the rear, perform your alignment, and see where things fall. I wouldn't sacrifice my desired ride height, alignment and front to rear balance in order to fit a tire.

Furthermore, if you read my thread on the spring swap, you saw that the shorter spring will limit your upper maximum ride height in the front. You need to make sure the shock will hit the bump stop before the spring bottoms out. I have my front ride height a few mm's higher than KW's recommended lowest setting. KW measures their lowest setting based on their standard spring length. You will need to take into account the 30mm shorter spring in the calculation. So you can't crank up the rear ride height to the maximum hoping to fit the tires because you won't be able to crank up the front ride height to the maximum due to the spring swap.

The front I have how it comes from kw and rear is only 10mm lower I might even leave it like that I know it isn't going to hit but as I said I had wheels that rub for 2 years I left the 295s on zcp wheels this isn't the same

Anyone know if 18x11 +30 rear will clear with a 285/35/18 PSS and a KW V3? Would that be the recommended rear setup with 18x9.5 +23 265/35/18 PSS up front?

I would think that would clear easily with room to spare. Check my sig, I'm running 295/30/19 PSS in the rear.

FYI, Volk now makes an F80/82 fitment 18x11 ET34 TE37SL. Pretty much perfect for E9x, or could do a 5mm spacer. Another gift from the F8x

The +34 has been around for a few years now. There were people talking about it in 2013 in the te37sl thread.

Old thread but want to confirm before I pull the trigger, no inner clearance issues with 11 +34 in the rear? Will be using Ohlins RT if that makes a difference.

I tried that wheel spec with 295/30/18 Tires and I was hitting the inside of fender. I couldn't mount the wheel on the hub. I needed at least a 3 mm spacer but honestly didn't check. I went straight to a 10mm spacer

Thanks for the reply, how much rear camber did you have to run to fit 11 +24?
Just ordered so hope it all works out
