Spark Plug Broke Inside Head

Changing spark plugs and one snapped inside the head. Don’t know if it was threaded wrong or to tight. Was suggested to not thread tap it out. Should I take the head off and machine it or replace it. I’ve still deciding to either take it to a shop or replace the head myself any tips or tricks on replacing the head. Or is it better to send it off and not worry about it. I’ve never took a head off or messed with timing before but have plenty of time. I’ve heard you have to take off exhaust camshaft to reach the head bolts but I’m not sure. And where can I find torque specs and instructions since I cannot find anything online on S55 head gasket replacements. If you know anything about changing the head let me know Thanks

The best path forward is to take the head off to avoid any damage. Do you have a picture of the top of the spark plug to see where it broke off?

Can you attach some small pvc typing to a shop vac and just suck out the electrode that broke off? Then stick a borescope down there to make sure you got it all

The threads are still inside the head. I’ve drilled the inside out but the rest of it is on the threads
