iPhone compatibility through the forums

I have seen other sites that use VBulletin like this site with iphone friendly forums which make the whole site fit neatly on an iphone screen when the site recognizes the user is using an iphone. Can you guys add this to the site?

Thanks for the consideration!

I'de say the most cumbersome thing is navigating a multiple page thread. The buttons are just too small. You have to zoom way in, click on the next and then zoom back out.

check out these forums on your iphone. very clean & to the point.

http://www.modmyi.com/forums/

if you see it regularly, there will be a tab on the top to change it to the iphone format. can't miss it.....

Also, could you somehow add a link to go directly to new posts? That's usually the first place I go to, and I'm sure others do the same

Hey Mark, anyway you can put a link to go back to original format for the forum instead of iphone format? I noticed when viewing photos, you cant zoom in with this new format. It'd be nice to be able to switch back and forth.

When your viewing a thread you need to have a last button so we don't have to keep clicking next page to get to the last.

Mark, it looks great! It's very much appreciated. Is there a way to view new posts so you know if you've read them or not?

Thanks! I use my iPhone a lot to visit this forum, and the new iPhone format works faster and it's easier to use than the full website.

yup! being able to zoom in and out for pictures and links are important because even though its nice to brose through everything on the iphone, having to scroll all the way down instead of just zooming in and out takes much much more time.
