anyone use healthcar warranty?

Hey guys,

I have a 2015 5 series with 103k miles and I am looking at extended warranties and I was wondering if anyone has bought or had or used this one extended warranty company called healthcar? They are only available from credit unions it seems and mine does offer them but I wanted to see any feedback or responses before I bit the bullet.

Attached is their website and policy and everything if anyone can help me see if they are good or have had any experience with them in the past?

Thanks!
Most extended warranty companies won't warranty anything that old or with that many miles, I would steer clear of anything that isn't known to be a reputable company, check business license and yelp ratings, etc. I would just stick with factory extended warranty though that isn't an option in your case. You may find that third party warranties won't cover or will only cover for a short period of time and very limited plus high deductible and premium so not really worth it versus just maintaining it yourself on your own dime.

OP, you might want to work on the links you posted. There’s too much there and they are not working.

edit: I googled it and found the Credit Union and the warranty company and a copy of the contract. It looks to me like pretty good coverage for a car just over 100k miles. The electronic components coverage looks good. It looks like the “Gold” coverage would take you to 150k miles and then after that it looks like it would revert to the “Silver” coverage, which is not as comprehensive.

If it’s a company a credit union has chosen to recommend/affiliate with the odds are high it’s a reputable company. And these days companies that offer extended service contracts on cars with existing mileage up to 125k or even 150k is much more common than it used to be.

Did you go with healthcar? My union also offers them and thinking heavily about doing it for my upcoming car but haven't seee anyone else online talk about them.

Or if you went with a different one which one and how are they?
