Any G series with 18” or 19” with space saver / donut / temporary spare?

Does anyone know of any G series cars that comes with a space saver (18” or 19”)? Preferably steel.

I want to put together a space saver spare for my G42 M240.

Therefore I am looking to identify a steel wheel (due to cost) in 18” or 19” to suit. Therefore it needs to suit: PCD = 5X112mm & CB = 66.6mm.

Needs to be 3.5”-4.5” wide to suite up to 155 tyre width. Not fussed by offset at this stage.

If I can identify a G series car, I should then be able to find one at a car wrecker here in Australia easily I did this for my F22 M240 with a steel E series X5 18” wheel. Unfortunately G series cars have moved from a 120mm PCD to a 112mm PCD… (I know in the US and UK there are a few companies selling kits at a reasonable price; but not in Australia).

So far I have only found the following G series by trolling parts lists:
PN36115A3E078 / 36112470249: 5BX19 ET:-2 19” Alloy wheel with 155/80R19 tyre for X5, X6, X7 and 7 series
Just the wheel for this is 36116880744.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have a G30 that I ordered with the spare setup. Is that what you are looking for?

Thanks awesome info, cheers! Hadnt checked X3/X4. PNs and details are:

36116863416 EMERGENCY WHEEL, LIGHT ALLOY 4BX18 ET:-1
36112420121 same but with 135/80R18 tyre

This will be perfect if I can track one down. Being 4" I can get a donut tyre in a suitable profile for the G42 M240 (eg T145/70R18).

Unfortunately the X5 spare wheel is 5" and there is no donut tyre in a suitable profile for the G42 M240.

Cheers again for the lead.

Indeed it is! Looks like the 5 series uses the same space saver as the X3/X4 PN that I listed above.

Cheers for the lead.

The optional spare tire on the G20 was a reasonably priced option ($250 for tire, jack, etc), but I think I only ever saw about two cars on the lot that had it. They used a shelf that took up about 1/2 the trunk vertically and 2/3rds or more from side to side. Most folks thought that was too much space to lose.

Its proving that sourcing a G series 18/19” ~4” wide space saver spare in Australia is not easily. The OE 19” is about AUD1000 + a different tyre is required. Wreckers (dismantlers) in Aus don’t seem to be coming across them; so not really available at a realistic price.

But Mercedes have a couple of options. The ML (& GLE) SUV’s from the W163, W164 and W166 series (~97-19) came with a 18” steel 4” wide space saver with the required specs (PCD = 5X112mm & CB = 66.6mm.)

The Mercedes part numbers are:
A1634011102 = 18X4” ET00
A1644000002 = 18X4” ET40

Either offset should suit (since wheel width is only 4”).

Note this website lists all vehicles with PCD = 5X112mm & CB = 66.6mm: https://www.wheelfitment.eu/PCD/5x112%20/66.6.html
