New Surprise Leak 🙃

Saw some fluid on my drive, propped the hood, and saw this leak. Havent done research, but what do we think it is? Its to the driver side of the engine bay.

I JUST (less than a month ago) did Valve Cover + Gasket, in the past year Oil Gasket, Vacuum Pump, and HPFP, Serpentine Belt + Tention, Alternator.

Okay, I finally got the part number (after squeezing my camera in that area).

I can see: 9217375, which shows up on FCP Euro for $241.99 -- yikes

Has anyone changed one of these lines before?

I'm curious -- can a bad component somewhere else along the line cause a pipe to leak? About a year ago, my AC Stopped working, so I used one of those AC Charge cans.

Haha thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, the closest appointment times in any shops is in June, so I’ll have to do the job myself. There are no tutorials of anyone doing this on a bmw.

What do you mean by evacuate the system? Like the refrigerant? How do you perform that process?

A manifold and recovery tanks. YT is your friend. However now that I think about it you may not have any in the system if the leak is bad.
