My car was badged incorrectly at the factory, so it's been de-badged since delivery. If I had still had my badge, I'd leave it regardless of the 35.

Seriously, why? I don't believe the 335 would be any reason to debadge a 330.

i guess most people would try keep a low profile if they have a powerful, big engine car to reduce public envy and reduce their chances of getting vandalised on the streets. of course, there are people who behave in the exact opposite fashion, who buy the smallest engine and then rebadge their cars to a higher engine spec badge. seen both types too often on my roads. even saw a stock 6 series with a m6 badge.

That's just silly. It's not fooling anyone who knows anything about the M6 and for those who know nothing, well they could not care less. In the end, it's quite pointless.

I never comment in these threads because they are pointless. There is nothing wrong with a discussion on any topic whatsoever but what is the point of the poll?

This poll is like asking are you as shallow/pathetic as all these threads have been for the past 2 years. yes or no?

I have not purchased a 325/28 yet but I will be proud to drive one. If you debadge, do it for the look only, but whatever you do it for do it for yourself.

What's the point? Everyone who knows anything about these cars can tell a 325 from a 330 from a 335. The exhaust and wheels (assuming stock) give the model away. IMO debadge if, for some reason, you like the look.

I voted I will debadge but actually I dont think I would bother by then as they wont be that many 335i here , nor I really ever agree E92 is the same type of car as E90.

agreed! if you debadge because of higher model came out, thats
but if you want the clean look, thats OK.

I wouldn't do it. nothing wrong w/ letting people know I drive a 330i

Because in Europe you have the option to have the badges left off from the factory. So, they really are not de-baged... but rather never 'badged' at all.

I won't de-badge, I could care less about the badge, but I am a little disappointed that there will be a more powerful option out there. Not because of any pissing contest, but because I drive like an a$$ and am a horse power whore (assuming it has the handling and transmission to match, of course, otherwise I would have gone with the IS350).

However, I doubt I'll trade up for a 335, but rather wait for the rumoured 2008 M3 sedan and then trade up....mmmmm....more power....

Most people these days dont even know what the difference is between one model or the other. Only a BMW driver really knows the difference. Really who cares what the damn number is, just drive the car and enjoy it. Most people in the country are so wrapped up in material possesions, its not even funny. "Mine has a higher number than yours so its better." Those people really need to grow up because there are more important things in life than a damn car ect.

Most people with faster cars drive so damn slow anyways, so what the hell is the point of buying such a fast car if your going to drive like grandma Moses?

Thats my .02

I plan to change my 335 badge to a 325! Since I work in a business/financial position where people can lose respect for those making unwise financial decisions or are trying to show-off, I want to be able to say I bought the cheapest model in the range. Smart people will know by looking at the features, or when I let them drive and they step on the gas pedal!
