Hello, this is my first thread in this forum, i've been reading somethings without registering about coding and other things.

But now I need a serious help with my BMW F30. My EPS suddenly stopped working and the orange eps light come on, so I bought another working used EPS motor and connected inverted to the power cable . , so now any EPS motor connected to the car isnt recognized ESYS didnt show EPS and ISTA says no comunicattion, already flashed FEM_GW, but no sucess still not recognized.

The eps motor is working tested in another BMW, and its recognized and i can flash it with esys.

Can anyone help me?

Already checked all fuses from the internal from the hood checked ground, and it's all ok...

Likely wiring related, check using ISTA the wiring and recommended areas to check.

You can try reset flexray with tool32 and write svt to vcm

You can reset FlexRay with ISTA+, under service functions

I reinitialize Flexray via ISTA+ with success, but It says that have no communication with FEM_GW module(attachment FEM). Also i wrote svt to vcm, but no success, same thing it dont recognize EPS, it's strangle because all modules are recognized only EPS no

Could you explain me how to do this? Step to step? I listened that tool32 is a dangerous tool, and i'm a little afraid to it. I dont know even the correct prg file to load.

I'm using a ENET cable.

You need to set Ediabas to use ENET to be able to use tool32.

So what i did:

steurn_flexray_pfad ARG:KLEMN.....RESET

status OK

steurn_reset_learn_flexray

status OK

but nothing changes, looks like the port is already open,but still not recognize...

Following this thread because my EPS module is also not reachable after my old battery died, and installing a new batt didn't fix the issue. Wondering if I'm supposed to reset stuff as well?

Ok, did it again with no success, then removed rack and checked all wiring and the red cable was not getting 12V so i directly wired it, and it finally get recognized, coded via esys, but now the steering its hard and have some fail codes relative to the angle sensor (4823D2). It can be related to turning on EPS outside car? Can i reset the angle sensor? Thanksss

Use ISTA to initialise the EPS.

ISTA recognized EPS in yellow, then i go to initialize EPS, and it says that have no comunicattion, and when i back to module diagram, the EPS turned red... I think i fried my EPS.
