Adding oil changes service date?
Anyone else notice that when you add oil to the car it changes the next oil change date and mileage to a later one?
Do you guys just ignore this and just change it every year or do you go by the next date and mileage? |

Yea supposedly it's a conditioned based monitoring sensor so every time you add oil it changes?
I've had to add oil twice now so it needs pushing the next service date... |

That doesnt sound right. I believe the system does not monitor actual oil quality but rather its "calculated quality" based on the last time the maintenance interval was reset and how the car has been driven since (i.e. number of miles, fuel consumption, etc).
I have never seen my service interval change in the many times I have added oil to the car... |
