Newest 2014 BMW i8 Production Renders

Rendering based on the latest spyshots of the BMW i8 Production Model.
Which color would you have this in?

Updated renders with regular reflections, and more colors to visualize.

I kept this older render to show my reflection fail, sorry...

I think it's actually not far off what the production model will look like.

Perspective based off spyshot from Bimmerpost, here is an overlay.

I thought the front was out of perspective too actually but it isn't. It's the wheels I think. The back one looks a little warped. Overall, still good work.

And I agree with you, as weird as it looks please look the the photo in this thread. Taken in person by a camera, and that was the angle it was shot.

I simply peeled off the camoflauge, and nothing else if the angle is wrong please send the complaints to Brenda Priddy & Company for they took a photo with a strange lens which distorts thier photos.

Too futuristic... Too spaceship like.

The i8 is meant to be seen in movies, esp the one that stars Tom Cruise (Minority Report), Wil Smith (i-Robot), Sylvester Stallone (Demolition Man). Definitely not meant to be seen rolling in the Bay Area.

I bet this i8 scans your retina before it allows you to enter/open doors.

That is a very cool idea, maybe this will be a part of the technology package for the i8 along with the gesture enabled heads up display navigation.

You are right, the glass doors would not do too well on side impact plus I am not sure if I want people staring at my pants while I am driving around in the BMW i8, I'd much perfer solid doors with solid colors like this.

Do you think the BMW i8 looks too futuristic in the past?
