In the grand scheme of life, I don't really think it will matter if you skip a designated workout now and then. Life goes on, stuff happens. Just do the best you can. If you substitue a workout for the normal plyo day and you feel you just need to do plyo - try removing the kempo from that week and do plyo in place of it. Hey, it's just a thought. In other words, just do what you find best for what time level of fitness you want to achieve and don't worry about it. If you can get a good work out in running or playing your sport, then do it and don't even look back.

I prefer you dont substitute anything for this workout. Just my two cents...
You can substitute Plyo X for Cardio X. I did the first week because I am had a torn ACL and was told that my knee will never be the same. It honestly doesn't feel the same after a year and 2 months. If my knee is bothering me, I'll pop in Cardio X instead. Cardio X even has some Yoga in it.

I love how he takes breaks after doing like 5 reps and comes back and does like 20 more and says it's nothing while you're puking.

I had to take a week off due to a nasty cold/flu. It was very hard to start back up this weekend....

Good results...looks like you leaned up a bit!
I am starting week 4 tomorrow! On a side note since I play soccer I have substituted some plyo/cardio/kenpo days for my soccer days...if a soccer night falls on a leg workout night I skip the legs but still do the AbRipperX (ugh...). Last night played 3 hours on an outdoor FutSal court here in Victory Base Baghdad....needless to say the after-effects of 3 hours pounding up and down a concrete court was was worse than any of the workouts I have done so far on p90x!

vladdy328 - Keep getting after it. Traps and abs are starting to come out nicely. Looks like you are doing pretty well on the diet/nutrition side. The ~6 month pics so some nice hard work! You should consider getting P90xPlus. It turns up the intensity just a bit. And gives you a nice core ab workout that you can bring in with abRipper for some really nice overall work. Just something to consider. Either way, keep getting after it. It looks like it's working out great for you!

Now, more pics of the girl to your left!

Question: For the days of ab ripper X. Is cool to do ab ripper X first then continue with the workout after?

That's what I do. I feel exhausted after the 45 min workout so my form is off when doing ab ripper. Decided it was better to do that first instead.

Week 3 and I've lost 5 pounds. Abs are starting to slowly define themselves. Form is everything, and if you can't keep proper form, then you might as well just not do it. You'll be working the wrong muscles. That's my take on it, at least.

I'm now 5'8 and 150 pounds.

I have had to take the last 1.5 weeks off/hiatus due to travel within Iraq and my location changed....still getting my cardio workout in (not to mention a pretty good leg workout)...I try to fit in some push-ups and some pull-ups during the day as well. Hope to get back into the swing of things within the next few days....
