rear may rub under compression

at ET29, outer shoulder of front tire may graze/rub the front part of the fenderwell liner or tab while turning at or near full lock.

i'd move the 265/30/20 to the rear and change front tire size to 255/30/20 or 235/35/20.

try it out and let us know if it rubs or not.

fwiw at 11.55kg and 12.32 kg they are heavy for forged M wheels. with taller wider tires that heighten gearing, add rolling resistance and weight, there will be a more than negligible impact on acceleration and steering.
.

265 is very pokey in the front and may rub at 20" especially lowered.

Okay will look for either 225/35 or 235/35 fronts to be on the safe side. Are the front tires as important as the rear? Or can I stick with a more budget friendly option? Running just stage 1 328i so PSS seems a bit overkill.

front tires are more important than the rear because you are steering with them and the front brakes are the main brakes.

225/35 on 9" will be stretched to the point where if you touch a curb there will be no protection at all.

if you are leaving the rear with 285, it would be better paired with 255/30/20. i would try to avoid a 50mm stagger as it increases tendency to understeer in the curves. however if you predominantly go fast going straight only, i suppose it is fine because straight line stability would increase.

I guess it will be some stretch on the rear tires as well with 265/30 on 10"? Some stretch is fine for me as long as it is not extreme. So some quality 235/35 on the fronts and move the 265/30 to the rears and I will be set without risks of rubbing? Will it provide approximately the same amount of stretch around?

yes, 265/30/20 is slight stretch on 10", whereas 275/30/20 sidewall will be perpendicular. 255/30/20 sidewall is perpendicular on 9" width.

your cars fitment will look somewhat like below but your front will be 1mm further out and stretched 1/4" more on a 9".

here is the 20" thread
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1047084

if you are wondering about 245/35/20 front, it will rub the fenderwell liner at ET29 due to 26.8" height.

That fitment looks awesome! Any reccomendations on tires (235/35 R20) that are similar to the PSS? Cant seem to find them.

Okay so 265/30 in the front are no-go?

At ET29 265/30/20 will probabaly rub while turning at or near full lock. If it does, adding negative camber may resolve it. Let us know how it goes.

You want to run the tire/rim dimensions of the M4 comp on your tiny 3 series?
That'll look riced and as already read add some rubber to your wheel wells.

As suggested by alohasurftoad, 235/35 + 265/30 (275/30 for x-drive) is the best you can do. With such low profile, I'd recommend buying some comfier tires - Falken FK510 or 520 are possibly the first choice as more budget friendly, still very good tires.

This is my 428i xDrive with 245/35 Falken FK510s on 666m's for reference.
