Looks good but at $13k without install I wonder how well these will do considering so many used kits are popping up.

Official thread with no horsepower figures? What is going on here? As a potential buyer how much Crank Horsepower/TQ are we getting? I am not doubting the kit or anything but if I go to other manufacturers at least I know how much HP/TQ I am getting.

It's more expensive than the other kits, but it is made by an OEM manufacturer and is the only kit that offers full boost from ~3,500 RPM and up. No other kit delivers the torque curve and instantaneous power delivery that this one does. The technology, quality, fitment, and design are unsurpassed in this industry.

You're looking at about a 50% increase over what your vehicle would produce in stock form. Because dyno's vary so widely, we don't want to quote a specific number. This kit is on par with the 600 crank HP kits currently in the market.

This chart from Harrop indicates the following:
Stock HP: 344
Harrop HP: 527
183HP Gain

Stock Torque: 252 ft/lbs
Harrop Torque: 387 ft/lbs
135ft/lbs Torque Gain

Again, you're looking at about a 50% gain over what your vehicle produces in stock form.

My M3 made 540whp and 400wtq on a Dynapack.

The pricing is normally $12,990, but doesn't include Freight which is normally around $500 depending on location. We're also throwing in free map codes and including servotronic and the other benefits of the BPM Sport Tune.

With traction you should be able to do it in 4 secs.

I have to get my tires hot before I have good traction.

That's about - 0.5 second for our cars with DCT, and that's a lot for sub 5 sec. cars !
I would order the Harrop from you and even today if I not would fail for the yearly car inspection in this damn country !
Mike thanks for the info

Does anyone has any factual data regarding accelaration with this kit!? Any 60-130mph or even better, a 1/4 mile trap that could indicate how fast this kit is.

I'd really like to see where this kit is situated in term of sheer accelaration compared to the ESS line up of supercharger kits. I understand the more bottom end part, but what I'd like to know is if it's as fast as a VT1-550, a VT2-595, a VT2-625 or a VT2-650!? I'm guessing that after more then two years of testing and development someone has took the time to bring one on a drag strip or even just use a V-box to make some accelaration test.

Hey thanks Dave,
11.2 is not bad at all but with a 1.7 60ft and a 121mph trap, it looks like this car is pretty close in performance with an ESS VT1, I'm a bit surprised to see that, do you have anymore details on this particular car(tranny, hp/whp, boost)!?

The car has 20" rims and otherwise just a catback exhaust system so there are more gains to be made just there. A primary cat delete or X pipe would make further improvements
No DCT tune and launch control was not used. The run was using the latest Harrop calibration. The car has not been dynoed but would be running as expected (typical figures would be gains of up to 50% over stock) with the Harrop figures out there already, boost would be between 5 to 5.5 psi and come in in the 3000 RPM range.
The owner is a customer of mine and wanted to take the car to the drag strip just for some fun and to get the figures on his particular car.

The latest and release to market calibration is a game changer

Thanks again for the quick awnser!

Not a bad time for a car that only runs 5-5.5psi with stock cats in place, altough 121mph seems a bit low for a +600hp DCT car, I would have expected something closer to 130mph since that's what the VT2s are doing with much less power under the curve and about the same peak hp. Anyway, let's not give too much importance to this single time slip since there is not much information that goes with it.

Seems like a great product, can't wait to see it in action against other superchargers, and to ear more about the stage 2 also!
