I've almost always been the younger guy at the office (in my department)... Slowly (very) that's not always the case...

In the last two weeks, I've had my age guessed between 28 and 38... Bad guessers? I dunno... I am in the middle.

Also, for you non-smoky scotch drinkers, try Ardmore? It's not terribly peaty (like ardbeg), but tasty all the same.

You know you're getting old when, instead of being carded they ask, "so, how many kids do you have?"

You know you're getting old when you complain because they card EVERYONE ELSE at the table, but just bring your drink.

Enjoy it while it lasts. A waitress at Pizza Hut brought our bill and said, "I went ahead and gave you our senior discount."

Ouch.

Reap the benefits my friend. 10% off of a $7.99 bill will add up over time. That's money in your pocket that you don't have to take out of your IRA or 401K

My former boss keeps telling me that. I hate AARP and refuse to join. He doesn't like them either, but uses the 15% AARP discount on hotels all the time. I just can't bring myself to join that group, though.

"Did you just give me the senior breakfast???"
"Well yeah, you brought your grandkids to breakfast before school, that was nice"
"The boy there, he's my SON. The girl is my niece"

Didn't leave the discounted amount as a tip. She won't serve me any more (we go every 2 Fridays)

Even misbehaving a little bit gets me a 2 day sentence. I can cut it to one by drinking. I think there's a name for that.

Why do people hate AARP? Is it because it's just associated with being older? Do they call and harass you on your stone age land line? Do they mess with your dial up connection on Windows 98?

Wait till you turn 50 and they send you a membership offer every freaking week for two years. Right alongside the credit card offer from American Airlines. EVERY. FREAKING. WEEK.

My father is turning 65 next year and he is experiencing the same thing. He calls me every time he gets one to complain.

I get credit card offers from Citi and Capital One and all that shit EVERY DAY. I am pissed they send me these huge packets of paper that I rip up immediately. I am actually considering sending them a letter about their waste of paper that keeps entering my mailbox.

I get Capital One and American Express. Amex is always trying to sell me a Delta Skymiles bonus card. Literally two or three letters a month from each.

Wow that's pimp. I only get offers from Home Depot, because they like orange. And I like oranges. Seems to be the only connection, really.

It's not the love of oranges that you profess in and of itself; rather, it's how you profess that love which garners the attention you are seeking.

It doesn't hurt that my orange stand operates outside of the local Home Depot every 2nd Thursday of the month, either.

King William III would be proud.

I went to Syracuse. I'm really not a fan of oranges. Its a travesty, I know.

So there's a Home Depot connection to the College of William and Mary? This is getting complicated.
