Mporium BMW in McKinney, Texas is looking to fill two new salary positions:

BMW (all model) service technician: A skilled and experienced BMW tech capable of efficiently seeing client vehicles through from A-Z. Ability to perform all manner of mechanical and electrical diagnostics, fluid services, leak repairs, component replacements, tire/wheel service, alignments, up to performance modifications, suspension upgrades. Attention to detail is a must, BMW certifications or master status a plus, and must be fluent with ISTA software and provide their own basic personal tools.

General shop tech, powertrain focus: Experience with BMW powertrains required. Will perform rod bearing services and occasional transmission service/repair, especially DCT. This tech will also be tasked with disassembling, cleaning, measuring, and prepping engines in our machine shop then assembling engines in our clean room. Especially S65, S54, N20/N55, N54. When no engine work is in queue, tech will be tasked with various BMW jobs as needed to maintain shop workflow as a "floater". Attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization are critical to this position. Additional pay consideration if this tech is experienced with operating a manual lathe and mill, welding, coding/programming, tire/wheel machines, alignments.


The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of BMW systems and automotive theory. Applicants should have a great work ethic and bring a friendly and teachable attitude to best fit in with our team and maintain our workplace harmony. Pay rate is above average and will vary depending on qualifications and experience. We offer paid time off, bonuses, and work in a climate controlled shop.
