Wow nice runs! Car pulls! I basically have the same mods as you except the pulley. In the video comparing with the stock E92, you can see the BIG difference at how much a FBO E92 is much faster than stock.

Great runs & videos. Thanks.

Those C5 Zs trap 116-118 stock. I was always on the border of picking up one as a toy, but I cant get past the front end, which to me looks like a Pontiac.

What are your plans with the car? Are you going to stay NA?

Thx for sharing the vids--nice, varied comparos.

2 results that I didn't expect--the stock C6 Vette & the ESS M3.

C6 was faster than I'd have thought & the ESS was slower...

As always, great posts and videos.

Have you been able to log timing and/or fuel trims with the Ethanol blends?

A C6 Z06 and a G-Power M3 only put 2-3 cars on me under the same conditions, my GoPro ran out of battery life though.

I've ran a C5 Z06 before my tune, same mods otherwise and we were dead even. Since the tune I've had an edge over stock ones.

Awesome runs and videos. Let me know when you want to raise the RPM to 8,600 and I bet you'll give them a better run for their money

Great videos! I'm assuming the ESS car was on the stock exhaust?

Thanks for you vids and posts MFL. I like that you've researched and dynoed. I'm lucky to have 93 and e85 close to my house.

Damn I wish I could have came today to the event. What speeds were you hitting? Pretty surprised at the ESS 535 not as fast as I would have thought since he should have close to 100whp more.

Full Bolt-Ons; a car modified with intake/exhaust bolt-ons and possibly a tune but no internal engine mods.

The ESS car was catless with stock midsection.

Also, that ESS kit is definitely quicker. Maybe a 60 roll would have been a better way to showcase the delta between us. If you look towards the end, the gap would have been greater had we have gone a full half mile.

130-140 at 2000ft supposedly. I'll be verifying with GPS next time.

Both runs runs are on 30% Ethanol.

OP, to clarify, was the baseline run done with the same bolt-ons and gas just on the stock tune? In other words, is the only difference between the two runs the addition of BPM software? If so, a ~20whp gain from just software is pretty good and inline with my expectations.

That would inject other variables into the analysis, namely traction and driver skill, not to mention the transmission.
The first run my car was on e30 and was on the stock mid section and on the stock tune.

The second run was with my catless mid section and BPM tune. Hence when I'm trying to find another quad resonated mid section from Dinan.

Did they change at all to a true half mile? Runs seemed a bit short.

2000ft, they needed enough run off for the 9 second/1000+HP cars.

I would have expected the delta to be 30-35hp assuming the lower run was stock and the higher run was after all mods.

OP, why are you considering the Dinan midpipe? Too loud, or do you expect gains?

So this mid section cost me $700 and I have no idea who made it etc etc etc, I honestly expected more between the two (I know, different day). So when a good deal on a Dinan mid section comes up, I'll buy it and re-dyno it.
