I recently replaced my radio trim with the illuminated one. But now the little panel under it where I tapped the power from it’s led keeps falling off.
It looks in perfect condition and no clips are broken.
Any tricks on how to keep it closed?

Double sided tape.

When it’s in situ, slide it up till it clicks in.

I had to use double sided tape. I kept spare mags in there.

Make sure that you tuck the new connectors and wires above the silver unit or whatever it is there. I recall taking my new trim cover off again and sorting out the wires taping them felt tape out of the way of the cover. Had to push rather hard to get the click sound that confirmed it was secured.
