Honestly I've never been a fan of Bmw. When I was 17 I test drove a 92 high mileage E36 325 but I bought a civic instead. In 2003 I went to Bmw to test drive a used 2001 330 CI the salesman was laughing at my face..so I went to Audi bought an A4. The snoby attitude of salesmans on top off hilarious badge whore driving 3 series around turned me away from the brand for several years. My A4 got totaled by a drunk driver and I was looking around at a 300hp+stock car, with good brakes that was AWD or RWD...the B7 S4 was too much money...the G37 was mehhhh it felt so synthetic so I decided to order a 135I 6 months before it came out...it was a long wait but at the end I was happy. If I had to redo it I would have bought an E46 M3.

I used to drive my mom's E36 convertible a lot after I got my license. From then on, I was a BMW enthusiast. There was nothing that could compare to that car. Now, I've got a 335i. These cars are awesome.

my dad has been a technician at bmw since the 70's and is still one today. he found it reasonable to buy bmws since it would be easy if anything went wrong with our cars and because they were a good drive. bmw has been in my family for a while now and i can't imagine driving anything else lol. my first car i learned to drive on was an e36 m3 soo that just added to my love for bimmers

Growing up I used to always be biased towards German cars. I always liked them more than other car brands. When I first saw a silver E46 M3, I thought thought the car was the most badass car I ever saw. Since I didn't have enough money to ever afford such a car, my mind kind of pushed away these thoughts. When I saw the 335i on the BMW website I fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to buy one one day. Once BMW came out with the 135i which had the same engine and which I liked even more the rest was history. Now I'm obsessed with all things BMW.

Well when your Persian, like me, your family either owns a Mercedes or a BMW. So when I was 7 I made the decision that a 325i is better than a C320. From then BMW has never left my heart!

1993 as high school kids my friends and I used to cruise around in my Honda killing time. One night we came across an Silver 850 Ci that had Dinan Badges and a license plate that Read 550HP. Then the Release of the E46 M3 Concept at the NAIAS, the fenders did it for me.

First fell in love with the E36 M3 around 96 or 97. Finally got an E90 over ten years later.

My Dad... He had a 1984 754i Turbo european model. I absolutely loved that car and it was crazy fast above 40 mph. I remember rides when I was 10 or 11 years old and I just felt plastered to the seat. Then he bought a 2002 for 900 bucks. It was pretty junky but still a lot of fun and then the beemers just kept coming and my whole family now drives or rides BMW's.

I used to think BMW's were stupid...

Why?

At Christmas of 2000 my step-father purchased my mother a brand-new (then) 2001 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. And being a "honda" guy, I loved it...

Well, at the same time, my best friend (who's father made LOADS more cash than my step-father) ordered a 2001 325ci. My best friend and his father flew out to North Carolina and did a Performance Delivery on the car. So of course deep down I was jealous of my friend, I've grown enough to admit that, and his family's wealth. With that said, I just didn't see why anyone would need spend the cash on the bimmer over the honda which wasn't quite a direct comparison, but close enough...

Well, when I got a pretty hefty promotion and nice raise to accompany it, I started to look for a new car. I was growing tired of my 1 year old Nissan Titan that had had TONS of problems. With my little bit of wisdom I had acquired since my slightly younger years, as I did my research, the e46 just kept coming to the top. The e90 hadn't been out very long, and though I did like the e90, a CPO'd e46 just seemed like more bang for my buck...

So why not an e46 M3? Well, I dunno, I just don't like e46 coupes. Could it still be that deep down hatred for that one particular 325ci? Its absolutely possible. What was the next best thing? An Imola Red e46 Sedan...

So I searched and searched for the right one after selling off my Titan to a local guy. Turned out that Classic BMW in Dallas, TX had TWO. One was on ebay, the "stripper" ZHP, the other I found when I took a look at their website, she was loaded, and I had to have her...

Her name is ///Molly, May 21st, 2010 will be the 4th year anniversary of when I purchased her, and she's so close to being paid off that I can taste it, and it taste good!

What's next? Well, she's approaching 100,000 miles, so directly after pay-off lots of maintenance will be conducted, suspension, etc, as well. Then next summer I plan to start looking for a nice LCI x3 sport to make my daily driver, keeping the ZHP, of course, forever. That x3 should be paid off at about the time I get done with school, so who knows, e90 M3? M5? X5-M? M1? Lots of options...

I was in love with 2002 Tii, then M1 came on the seen (I was 9 years old). That was the beginning of my love with BMW. Couldn't get a Tii, and M1 was too expensive, and I was too young to drive . But I turned 26, I purchased an E36 M3, and had it modified. then got an E46 ZHP. I don't have both. I am just waiting 'til I finish my nursing school (june of 2010 yuppie) then I will be getting hopefully a brand new E92 335is. In the mean time, I am happy with my MKV Jetta california edition.

My family-friends got the first Z3 on the west coast when I was a youngin, and since then I have been in love.

An older friend of mine had a sweet E30 vert he would drive me around in when I was in 8th grade and I loved it, then I got my first BMW a few years later (E36 M3 vert).

I was shopping for a new car, and was about to jump into a mercedes. everyone in my family has had a mercedes, but the styling of the e92 was just too beautiful for me to go with my family's taste. one test drive, and I was hooked... and you can be sure I'll be staying with BMW for years to come.

I'm with you - the only BMW that ever got my attention was the E46 M3. I really could care less about most of BMW's lineup. My coworker just picked up a 2006 M3 (black on red) and it seems like a much cooler car that what I have.
