Saw a Z8 a few weeks ago.

So as I'm driving home a few weeks ago, I see a nice coupe Z car. I just assumed it was a new Z4, but the tail lights were different. Just a slit across the back on left and right sides. I started researching it and figured out its a Z8, what a cool fast V8 car. Plus super rare and then decided to see how much they sell for on autotrader. Cheapest was $180k. Dam! Nice car but way out of my price range.

The Ford GT of the same era and about the same MSRP as the Z8 are going for $275 - $400K now.

Nice! Yeah, they're definitely RARE cars. I've only seen one in person.. and in the the most random of places.

Surprisingly enough, we actually have a Z8 on VMR Wheels in Europe

Saw a silver Z8 With Alpina wheels yesterday in Corona Del Mar. I wanted to take a photo but I would have risked an accident so I decided to take a mental snapshot for the spank bank.

About 13 years ago I saw one at a New Orleans dealership. I kept wondering "what the hell is a Z8?". I never really bothered to look up that car until much later. I think I was 11 at the time.

The early cars had the aluminum shock towers crack.

I see one of these every couple of months. They are one of the most gorgeous cars ever made and definitely the most beautiful BMW. Values have shot up over the last couple of years.

As a side note, I predict that the Mercedes SLS will be a similarly coveted car.

Hands down one of my favorite vehicles ever produced by BMW. Everything about it is so right, it makes me excited.

Except how much they cost. Boo.

Not to be quarrelsome, but a good case can be made for the 507, which the Z8 is intended to evoke.

This may be blasphemous, but the 507 doesn't do much for me...
