Good grief...
I would not count on that for a MY2025 car. This is the kind of a discount you are getting on the outgoing MY2024 non-EV 7-series. Good luck in any case, hope they cave!

Well, i think i "could have" gotten 9% today. So, if that is where i stop in current environment, then that seem descent to submit the production order. Damn, i thought 7.5% is good with local dealer, lol...

Lol I didn’t mean 10% is doable now but rather it is the ceiling of discount on non-evs. I ordered my 24 X5 at 10% dealer discount a year ago but I don’t think dealers discount X7s as much

Hi folks, was shopping around in the Bay Area, California for the on-the-lot 2024 X7. Found one that has the same color combo but not exactly the options I wanted. Dealer gave 10% off MSRP and then $1K BMW partner rebate via my employer. So the total OTD price is a little under the MSRP.. Yes the sale tax here is crazy at 10.75%.

Couple dealers don't seem eager to quote me for a custom 2025 build. They just simply sent me a quote at MSRP or $1k off MSRP, etc.

What do you think? more room to negotiate? or should I just ask for a few freebies like all-weather-mats and maybe 1 or 2 extra years of Ultimate Care (on top of the free 3 years one)?

Side note: I found that BMW dealers here always have some customers on weekdays and weekends. I went to a couple of Audi dealers on Sat and they are super quiet and salesmen are eager to sell you something the same day without knowing what options the car has

Please advise,

BMW of Stevens Creek should give you at least 6-7% for a custom build right out of the gate, and you should push them higher. Also check out BMW of Fremont, they also don’t tackle ADMs and have reasonable doc fees.

Thanks skrontz for the note! will try to contact Steven Creeks too and see how it goes.

I wonder if it is common to ask for a free 1 or 2 additional years of free maintenance (they call Ultimate Care?) at the purchase time?

Negotiating individual deal components (price, trade-in, financing, and maintenance) separately generally leads to a better outcome for the buyer.
