It's too bad that you've had such a bad experience with your M3. I wish you better fortune with your new bimmer. Perhaps it was just bad luck. I've had a 2011 E93 DCT M3 and have a 2013 E92 ZCP DCT M3, both with every option and both have gone to the dealership only for scheduled service.
I lived in Europe for nearly 14 years; principally Germany. For the entire time I was on the Continent, I drove 911s. I came away from that experience thinking that you pay for Porsches twice, the first time when you buy them, and the next time when you try to maintain them. I saw my Porsche Meister, Herr Schneider, at Werk Eins in Zuffenhausen, so frequently, that he almost became a close personal friend. By the Porsche standard, M3s are Lexuses. |
