Did a massive 1400 miles in the BMW last year, it's not great on fuel and a relaxing drive but great fun when it wants to be.

The new family car is a bit of a sleeper as it looks like any other Formentor apart from the exhaust which are the only external signs it's a 310 with the Golf R running gear.

Thanks yes the F Type is quite the head turner. I’d ordered without seeing the BRG colour and black, worrying it was all a bit dark but it was stunning.

Yes it was the P450 V8 and did have a cracking roar to it! Pretty heavy car though, but the thread is about the car(s) you looked back at and yup that was one for sure.

Another pic and a car park do the image police will be happy 😋

Had this since new in March 2022 and absolutely love it.
It's had a REMUS exhaust fitted since these photos were taken.
Couldn't resist getting these pictures on one of those rare sunny days after the car had been freshly detailed.
The sweet spot in the entire range for me - petrol, potent, practical, understated looks, not too big... lovely 👍

2CRO4TV your M340i looks great with the grey 795M wheels, i was seriously considering those when i went for the Motech M-W3 on mine.

And that looks suspiciously like the road going to the car park at Wells-next-the-sea.

I'm now playing "spot the location", as I have been to just about every major car park in the UK at one time or another. Fun for me, at least.

Sorry… cocked the links up!
E92 M3 friend! I've also owned an EP3, and an S2000, owners of both those often naturally progress to the E9x M3 for obvious reasons.
I mean, it's like 2x K20's in a V, with ITB's from factory!

How are you liking it, any mods?

Thanks but they are a pain to clean just as bad as the car itself. What is the Remus exhaust like as I’m tempted to get it as I’m missing the MPPSK from my previous 340.

Where abouts in the UK are you? I think i recognise the car park your M340i picture was taken in. If you are near i'd be happy to meet and you can have a listen for yourself.

I have the REMUS Race fitted, it's a definite sound improvement IMO in all driving modes.

One of the things about getting older is that you tend to look back at your car in the car park not to admire it but to check you locked it..!!!

Old pic because it is presently far too dirty... 😂

Absolutely love it! It has a backbox mod but that's it vs. standard. Comp pack car. Can't get enough of it!

How about yours? Managing the fuel bills okay?!

Of all the cars I owned in the past, including the GT3, this was the one I looked back at the most...

It was the first car I got to own that was something more than what it looked at first sight... People who knew what it was would nod and come over to have a chat with you about it... This was Oulton Park, not long after I got it... The only mod I did to it (some time after these pics) was a DTM style upturned stainless steel exhaust, and that was because a genuine BMW one was an eye watering amount of money at the time... Like I seem to remember it was over a £1k IIRC...

A genuine UK import (before all the EU imports started coming over)... A 2.3 litre 1989 leaded petrol car, so 200 BHP... 15" wheels, 205 section tyres, arch gaps...
