please help with this plug!

hi y’all, sooo i was flushing the transmission fluid and removed this plug instead of the actual fill plug 😬 and now i can seem to put it back in as if there was something inside preventing the bolt to not screw in.

any ideas? i’m still downloading the factory service manual hopefully i can find something.
